Stockport County 6-3 Mansfield Town was the highest-scoring tie of the season with 9 goals.

7. Chelsea's road to glory

Chelsea beat Blackburn Rovers, Southampton, Ipswich Town, Arsenal and Middlesbrough on the way to the trophy — 5 ties won.

8. Sharpest shooters

Oxford United scored the most goals of any club in the competition this season, with 15.

9. Middlesbrough fall short

Middlesbrough reached the final but finished runners-up.

10. The last four

The semi-finalists were Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Middlesbrough.
