Crawley Town and Gillingham needed 19 penalties to settle their 1st Round tie (9-10 on spot-kicks after 2-2).

9. Liverpool's road to glory

Liverpool beat Norwich City, Preston North End, Leicester City, Arsenal and Chelsea on the way to the trophy — 5 ties won.

10. Sharpest shooters

Arsenal scored the most goals of any club in the competition this season, with 16.

11. Chelsea fall short

Chelsea reached the final but finished runners-up.
